I'm making a motion graphics video and I imported a 3D model in .glb format into After Effects. However, I noticed that it came with its own type of lighting, making the 3D product packaging appear to be a different color, it changed from black to gray, as if it was overexposed. Any ideas on how I can fix this? I've tried using 3D lighting, but it didn't change much.

It’s likely due to lighting or material interpretation. Check environment lighting under Layer > New > Light and adjust it with an HDR image if needed. Since After Effects may alter material properties, try pre-composing the model and applying Curves or Hue/Saturation for color correction. Also, ensure your color management settings match between After Effects and your 3D software. If the issue persists, re-export the model with baked textures or use a different format like .obj.

Thanks for reaching out, Thiago37888801qv5c.
Did you create the 3D model or download it? If created, which application did you use? Do you mind sharing screenshots of the 3D model in After Effects and from the source that shows the comparison? Also, if possible, please share the 3D model as well for testing. Feel free to share it via DM if you do not want to share it publicly.
Looking forward to your response.
Thanks,
