Adding Design to Rotating Object (Watch)

New Here ,
Apr 25, 2019 Apr 25, 2019

Hey all,

I'm trying to figure out how to add a design to this rotating Watch I created. Not sure if motion tracking is the right thing to do here? Basically as the watch rotates there will a motion design within that watch face. Hope that makes sense.

Here's the footage.

if you created the watch in a 3d app then you don't need any tracking, just apply the design as a material in your 3d app or export a null with the camera data to Ae from the 3d app so you can get a layer that matches to the watch surface perfectly.
