Hi there,
I am wondering if anyone has had a similar issue and can explain what is happening to my adjustment layer. I am currently working in After Effects to create rising bubbles that eventually pop revealing words in the background. Below some of the bubble layers, I've placed individual adjustment layers which contains the "bulge effect" (so when these bubbles float over a word, it will magnify anything behind it... see screenshot). When I ram preview, I notice black circular objects at the bottom of the screen (see screenshot) and realize the culprit is the adjustment layer as it's coming onto the screen... Why are these little black circles popping up? How can I fix this? Thanks!
Have you tried checking the "Pin all edges" checkbox on the bulge effect ?

Not sure if this is the best solution, but for the time being... I've put a mask on each adjustment layer towards the bottom.

Thank you so much, TheodorosGR, that worked perfectly.
