Adobe After Effects CC 2017.2 has stopped working

I can not open the AE,and it has stopped  working on welcome page every time.

Hi Todd, do I need to download animation composer? I'm unable to use AE.

No you don't. I still have issues starting. But I find when I use the creative cloud app to start AR from there it always works.

is that "An" for adobe animate CC 2017? I don't think I install that, it

somehow installed part of the suite.
