Adobe After Effects CC- Preview Problem...

So when I would make my project and what-not and hit the SpaceBar (to start the preview), There would be a green line that would move in my timeline but my time cursor/ red line would stay put. Thus Ae would render out my footage, but wouldn't playback. Help?

Hello,

The cause might be the access speed of your hard disk. I would recommend you change your cache disk setting in After Effects preferences and choose a faster drive.
