AE 2017 Secret Menu Purge not working.

AE 2017 has some kind of bad memory leak going on and I have 128GB Ram that gets filled up and then renders slow to a crawl. Not really an issue if I can set it to purge every 30 frames or so. But that's not working. Help?

AE 2018 as well. I have it set to purge every 6 frames. That's how long it takes AE to fill up 128GB of ram. But yet, no purge. What's up with that?

Ok. Now 2018 just purged. Not at 6 frames. But I'll take what I can get. Incidentally, it happened while I had AE CS6 open to try to prep some assets while rendering. That might have done something?
