I am rendering using ProRes422 with a project link embedded. If I attempt to import the rendered QT as a project. The option to import as a project is missing. It works properly in previous versions and on another machine. The main difference I see on my client's machine is this Format NotchLCPlugin. I don't see this on my machine. Any ideas?
They have a complex file structure and are pointing me to a render but have no idea where the project is saved.
I noticed the client's import dialogue showed the format as "NotchLCPlugin" whereas mine says the expected "QuickTime." NotchLC is the source of the problem. I installed on my machine and saw the same problem.

Hi mrtdg,
Thanks for writing in.
Are you trying to import a Quick Time file as a project in After Effects? I haven't seen this feature. Do you mind sharing a screenshot from one of your computers where it works?
Happy to look into this.
Note: Moving this thread from Bugs to Discussions for troubleshooting.
Thanks,
Nishu

This is a very useful feature I've used to locate projects for years. It works perfectly on my home machine using the same version as my client. But since they upgraded from 2022 to 2023 they can no longer import project links from .mov renders.
Here's the screenshot you requested:
