AE CC 2018 won't open

My AE CC 2018 only recently started doing this. I go to open the application and it won't get passed this screen:

It was working fine a couple of weeks ago and I don't remember installing anything new or making any system changes.

Any suggestions on where to start with this?

Looks like the initiation stage got locked while invoking Mediacore; a critical component of AE and PPro.

Reboot and see if you can start up PPro and even AME. If these too fail then I suggest that you uninstall and reinstall these apps.

2018 did not start for me (no screen, nothing, nada, zero), solution...

It seems to be a driver issue with nVidia Quadro M1000M. (Dell Precision 5510)

Running the nVidia Control Panel, (right click desktop)  Manage 3D Settings, Program Settings, (After Effects) I needed to

switch it back to my "Integrated Processor".   The problem with this however is it takes a

performance hit and my Previews (audio/video) never play back in real time... which makes it impossible

to edit my Timeline.   I installed the latest Quadro drivers but still no fix.  I will continue using

2017 until this issue is resolved.
