I have 2 questions in one actually: 1). I don't see folders in "Program Files/Adobe ...." for After Effects CC2019 (or the other apps except Ai). I was hoping I could just drag all my Plug-ins (including the Red Giant Trapcode Suite) and my many Scripts over, but cannot figure this one out; and 2). I still have the folders on my PC from AE CC2015 forward to now. Can I just delete all the old folders?
Hello,
I would recommend you wait until the vendor each releases the installer which supports CC 2019 if you are not in a hurry. You can drag the plug-in folders. But I guess some plug-ins make trouble because of licensing. You may need to adjust the license path manually.
You keep the old folders until CC 2019 is properly installed.

Hey thanks! How can I drag the Folders in? I don't see a AE CC2019 folder in "..... Program Files", where the older version folders still sit.

All of my Red Giant (Trapcode Suite, Magic Bullet, Colorista) Borris FX and Video Copilot stuff showed up automatically. All of the scripts, custom animation presets, and everything else is also there. The only thing I have seen that is missing is Color Finesse, but I would bet that it was removed in this version. I have not had the chance to check the documentation.

Thanks, I ran the installer and entered licenses one-by-one. It appears to have worked.

Hey, did you get it working? I'm having an issue with scripts that end in .jsxbin
Also I'm not sure where to put the script files because I can find them under the scripts menu (not the windows menu) but they don't dock. They're just floating windows. please help!

You need to put them in the ScriptUI folder inside the scripts folder.

Sorry I deleted my previous post because I thought I was being stupid, but actually now that I'm triple checking:
I don't have a Scripts or Scripts UI folder. I did a system recovery on my computer and had to reinstall everything. AE 19 doesn't come with a scripts UI folder, so where are you putting the scripts?

Please check again. Look in the folder at
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe After Effects CC 2019\Support Files
There should be a Scripts folder in there. Inside that folder should be a few standard scripts and, if there isn't one already, a ScriptUI folder.

Hey, thanks for your help. Unfortunately this is what I have under program files after installing the apps. I can't find support files/ script files/ after effect files anywhere
And this is what I have under Programmes:

Is there not a Program Files folder that doesn't have the (x86) thing on it?
What's under the After Effects folders in the Programmes folder?

It's just a custom folder icon.

I would have never found it. Thank you!! It was driving me crazy. Now looking at it I can see it looks like a custom folder. But until your post I just saw it as an .exe icon.
Thank you!!!!
