AE don’t open

How do I fix After Effects 2020 not opening on my MI Mac after being advised to clear cache?

I don't cleaned cash I just saved my project and maybe 10 minutes later when I clicked on AE it doesn't open. Also I don't have any updates.

Hi carolinaohota, try restarting your Mac first. If After Effects still won't open, reset the preferences by holding Option + Command + Shift while launching the app. If that doesn’t work, reinstall After Effects. Ensure your macOS and After Effects are up to date.
