AE layout goes crazy when running a script/plugin

Anybody knows how to fix this?

I use a plugin/script called Immigration which allows me to quickly replace image sequences in AE (something I wish AE would have by default). Every time I run the script the layout in AE goes nuts and some of my tools get tiny, specifically those close to the Project tab.

Also, I have asked the author of the plugin for help but he said this isn't an issue with the plugin/script but with AE and I can confirm as this also happens with other unrelated scripts.

If the cause is not related to the script, please try to update your graphic card driver to the latest?

This happens regardless of the driver.

Last resort is to clean install AE but I would rather avoid that.

Any other thoughts?
