We've created compositions in After Effects that we are exporting as motion graphics templates to use in Premiere.
When we import them into Premiere essential graphics panel and place them in a sequence timeline, the formatting and animation is incorrect.
See attached screenshot. On left is After Effects, on right is program window in Premiere.
The coloured border is wrongly sized. Also 2 lines of text don't animate on or off like they do in the After Effects composition.
AE comp is 1920 x 1080 23.97p square pixels
Premiere sequence is 1920 x 1080 23.97p square pixels
Using latest versions of Premiere (Version 15.2.0 Build 35) and After Effects (Version 18.2.1 Build 8)
We tested the .mogrt templates on both a Windows 10 and a Mac Pro computer, same issue in Premiere.

Is it possible that your Premiere sequence is not at full resolution and that's causing one of the expressions to calculate in the wrong area?

I checked to ensure the premiere sequence was 100% zoom, Full playback and paused resolution before importing the motion graphics template. Issue remains
Issue was also duplicated on multiple other computers in Premiere

That sounds really annoying. Any chance you could share a stripped down project file that demonstrates the issue?

Our motion graphics artist was able to copy over elements from a previous version of the project file that didn't have the issue and use that to fix the issue.
Not sure exactly what was causing it, assumign something weird with expressions.
Thanks for your help!

Something weird with expressions sounds right! Glad you got it working. 🙂
