AE Won't download.

I have a Macbook Pro 2017. It said I would have to update my software, it isn't compatible. So I did ( MacOS High Sierra V. 10.13.6) and still the same thing. (We HAVE to use after effects for class, can't just use a different program) What can I do ? and if the macbook doesn't work, what can I trade it in for ? Pls lmk ASAP, ty.

Could you share a screenshot of the error message you get?

Also, please share your system info(RAM, GPU, etc).
