After effects 25.0 low memory warning. Struggling to preview my animation.

Plagued by the low memory warning. I'm only viewing at quarter resolution. Purging doesn't really help a great deal as I'm having to purge every time I want to preview only after a few alterations to the timeline at a time. Will not preview at times, as there's nothing to even purge. This has been happening during latter versions of 24. My mac is Apple M3 Pro, 36 GB, running 14.6.1.

My activity monitor is showing AE is running well above GB memory capacity around 63GB.

Maybe this is the problem, and need more memory, but would appreciate some advice. Please.

Is it happening with a particular project or all of them? Could you share details about your current project? What type of media is being used (frame rate, frame size, format/codec)? Are there any plug-ins used? How much memory have you reserved for other applications in After Effects Settings?

I'm only working on one project at the moment. I have a colleague who's said that he's experiencing the same issue since the latest upgrade to v.25. He has the same laptop and set up as me.

I have 36 gb installed ram, and 6gb reserved for other apps.

I'm working with HD 1920x1080 25fps. Full animation is 2m30secs.

I've imported various illustrator vector ai files and the animation is made up of 21 comps with audio mp3. The imported illustrator files total around 115mb imported into the project and converted to layered comps. The audio voiceover are 24 wav files, total of 19.3mb.

I haven't used plugins.

Regarding plugins, I've attached a screenshot of my app plugin folder, I have not added any myself but these are the ones included when installed.
