Hello,
I'm trying to figure out if it's possible to export a composition as a Motion Graphics template when I'm working on a Team project.
I've setup my composition with a text layer, added a supported property but the "Export Motion Graphics Template" is not clickable (see screenshot).
Does anyone have also this issue or am I missing a step?
Thank you for help!
Have a good day,
Nic
Hello,
I met the same issue. I am not about the issue related to After Effects specification or not. The workaround I have found is this way although it is not a smart way.
1. You click Timeline and choose the text layer.
2. You move to Edit menu > Copy.
3. You move to File menu > New > New Project.
4. You move to Composition menu > New Composition.
5. You click Timeline and Edit menu > Paste.
6. You open Window menu > Essential Graphics.
7. You add the properties necessary.

Hello,
When the mouse cursor ativates Name: field, Export Motion Graphics Template button is not clickable. But the screen shot seems fine. When you add "Add Comment" below the window as a test, is it still inactive?

Unfortunately when I click on "Add Comment", the "Export Motion Graphics Template" button is still inactive.

Hello,
If you choose other comps from Master field, does it become active?

Hello,
That sounds odd to me. I am not sure about the specific reason of the error. What I can say now is to reset After Effects preference as a next step.
Setting preferences in After Effects
Reset preferences
To restore the default preference settings, press and hold the following keys while the application is starting.
Ctrl+Alt+Shift (Windows)
Command+Option+Shift (Mac OS)

Hello,
This is also not working. I made a test, I created a new project without being a Team project and it works fine. But converting it to a Team Project remove the ability to export Motion Graphics template. If someone can confirm or not this...

This is not the "correct answer". Anyone from Adobe -- Why is this option disabled in Team Projects?
