Every time I go to edit a project after a while ae starts to crash and say not responding when I click on things and tried and add effects etc. I am using blurmocurves and that seems to also be creating issues and I get a pop up saying ‘after effects can’t continue: s_blurmocurves plug-in generated and unexpected exception.’ I’ve tried most of the things people have suggested for crashes but they haven’t helped. I think this is related to the plug in but I don’t know how to fix. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

As it's a third-party plugin, so it's better to ask the developer of this plugin so may they need to updated it.

Without any actual system info and details about your project we can't tell you much. Your screenshot shows a gigazillion clips and a gigazillion markers, but not even the layer that the effect is applied to is being selected and the properties being revealed. That's pretty much useless to even guess. Based on your markers the only thing one could assume is that you're extensively keyframing some parameters of the effect, which may simply go against its internal algorithm and cause a logic conflict when it cannot generate the underlying motion vectors. That then would simply be a user error of using the effect wrongly. Anything outside that speculation will require proper info on your part.
