after effects can't find continuous rasterization

Im a student and I'm using this program for the first time and can't find the continuous rasterization button that looks like a star? I was watching a video and it showed it in the render queue where my "mode" is right now but I don't see it on mine.

Hi Haley. At the bottom of your screen you should see a Toggle Switches/Modes button. Press that.

Is this a new change? Because, I swear I don't remember this. This morning I logged on and couldn't find the rasteration button did a quick search and found this.

As far as I remember, that toggle has always been there. It's not difficult to accidentally clicking the switch and not noticing it because of the size of the button.
