After Effects having permissions issues

So I'm a new user to After Effects and I've tried to give every folder I can permission but my videos still are not able to be imported into AE. It says it's a permissions issue, but I truly don't know what other folder I could give permissions to. It's really frustrating, I haven't been able to find any helpful tutorial online. I'm running on Winfows and I converted the video file into MP3 from OBS.

Is this happening with all the media files or a particular one? Are you able to import this file from a different location? If it's happening with all the files, try changing the permissions as suggested here: https://adobe.ly/4dpxOiN

Let us know how ot goes.

Thanks,
Nishu

It’s happening with all media files. I tried to use that guide and I
changed all the permissions I could. I don’t know which one is giving me
the problems.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
