After Effects not opening on a Macbook Air

Hey everyone,

I have a Macbook Air High Sierra, processor 1.6 GHz Intel Core i5.

Adobe After Effects opens but when I try to open a project or create a new one, nothing happens. I don't get an error message nor does the program crash. After Effects is up-to-date and I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling to no avail.

Any ideas?

What version of After Effects did you install? CC 2018?

How much RAM does your machine have? (8GB is the minimum for CC2018.)

Do you ever have a second display attached?

Dang, yup. I had a second display last time I used the software. I fixed it. THank you!
