Sorry for the trouble. Any chance you are rendering the work area when you see only half?

If not is it the first half or some other portion of the video? Does the same project reproduce the same half render each time or is it random? Are you able to screen capture the issue?

Thanks for the reply.

Every time it only renders the first half of the video. The second half of the video is not able to be exported for some reason.

Can you host the project somewhere that I can download to see what might be going on?

I’m assuming you don’t see any error messages during export?

Are you using a custom export preset in media encoder? Are you able to screen shot the export settings window in media encoder so I can see the setup?

You have probably set the work area to half the video, then not selected the entire video in the rendering options. You need to pay attention to the UI and make sure you see and understand everything you see there. Try resetting the work area, change the options in the Render Settings to the length of the comp, or do the same in the Adobe Media Encoder.

Thanks for the reply.

However, I tried this and it doesn't work. When I go to export settings and I try to watch my edit, it says "Export rendering" (or something like that) and it won't load the second half of my edit.

I don't think that there is anything wrong with my work area/composition. When I go to Adobe Media Encoder, it says that it will export 50 seconds of the video (which is the full length of my video) but when I try to watch the video ON Media Encoder, the video stops loading after 10 seconds.

If the rendering locks up at 10 seconds then there is something going on in the comp at 10 seconds that is causing the hangup. You have to look at the comp to try and figure out what is going on there. Some problems just cause a hangup, others cause a failure. Some even cause a crash. It's not an AME problem it's a comp problem.

Yes, you're right.

Somewhere around 10 seconds, the video isn't able to be played.

But at around 11 seconds, the video is able to be played.

How can I fix this problem?

I suspect the video file.  Tell you what:  get Handbrake; it's free.  Use it to transcode the file into a high-quality file, like a quicktime movie in the Animation codec.  Then use that file in AE.
