After Effects stopped working all of a sudden...

Hi,

I was working successfully with After Effects CC 2019 (16.1.1).

However, I was tired of Bridge opening my PSD files with After Effects, so I reset Bridge (cmd + alt + shift when opening Bridge).

Since then, After Effects isn't working anymore; playback with the spacebar doesn't work, nothing appears in the Composition panel, and After Effects freezes when I try to close a project.

I restarted my MacBook Pro numerous times, I reset After Effects (cmd + alt + shift when opening), I uninstalled and reinstalled it, and it still doesn't work.

What's going on?

Hello,

I am not sure the cause is related to Bridge or not. In order to clarify the cause, can you try to launch After Effects after you uninstall Bridge?

I uninstalled Bridge 2018 and 2019 (CS5 and 2017 are still on my computer).

I uninstalled and reinstalled AE.

No success.

I created a new user, installed AE 2019, and I have the same problems...

I installed AE CC 2018, and it works fine.

But that's too bad for my CC 2019 work, though, as AE CC 2019 still doesn't work.

OK... THIS IS REALLY FRUSTRATING. I want to follow Adobe's courses (this one Animation d'images clés for example), and I can't because my CC 2019 doesn't work!

Here are my computer specs:

I'm really not doing anything exceptional: I'm doing all the tutorials here: Tutoriels After Effects  and a lot of them require CC 2019.
