Good morning all
I would like to change the color of an outline of a shape according to the background color of another element,
I therefore relate the 'outline color' parameter to the background color of the other element.
In After Effects, this works perfectly: the two elements change color by only changing the color of the parent element.
But, when used in Première Pro, it no longer works! The 2nd element keeps its original color!

In AE, double-check that you do not have any keyframes for your color properties/controls.

If you can't solve your issue then provide screen captures of your Timeline; displaying all layers and properties related to color. If Expressions take too much space, provide as many screen captures as is required or paste the scripts here while including sufficient details which property the Expression belongs to.

Hello Roland, and thank you for your response.
There is no keyframe on the color settings.
There is just a parentage of 'Bandeau_name_titre / Rectangle / outline /
color' to 'Bandeau Illac en / fill / color'
Here is an AE screenshot

Hi Patrick, you've left out the screen grab.
I think they updated the forum software and pasting screengrabs isn't working on my end and uploading an image is a hit/miss exercise. Perhaps you're facing the same issue. It's best to double check after posting.

My only French lessons were in this past century 😉
True Story.

It's hard to see the issue but I would ensure to have the correct Color Controls/Effect in the Essential Graphics Panel.

If you still cannot solve the issue, then upload the AEP for someone to take a look at it.
