After Effects warning: Fresh layer cache checkout failed

I'm getting this error more and more. Not sure how to resolve it. I clear the cache and database. Restart the application.

Using a late 2013 Mac Pro 64gb ram. Top spec system. AE version 14.1.0.57 latest build. OSX latest public release: 10.12.4

Any ideas? Anyone experiencing this same problem?

Cheers

David

Are there some helpful tipps?

purged all, restarted, put it in a new comp, tried different renderers.

when i move the CTI (with cursor or mouse), the green ram-bar is just on the current time.

Ok!

I updated OS X, after the restart graphicscard said that there are no drivers available for the current OS, but after some seconds the graphicsdriver updater told me there is a new driver abailable. After that..... TATAAAAAAA......

until now everything works fine!
