Animate buttons for video ads

Hello everyone!

I'd like to create a video where different buttons (rounded rectangles) fly in one after the other & always move each other down or to the side.

I also want it to look like I'm clicking on some of those buttons.

Is this possible with After Effects or do I have to use another Adobe tool?

Sure it's possible using basic tools like shape layers and text. The rest is entirely up to your imagination on how you want the different button states to look. I suggest you actually start by watching tutorials on basics liek keyframing and of course also read the online help. If you have a specific example as reference, posting a link or screenshot might allow people to give some more specific tips on how to re-create a certain look.
