Animation keyframes for individual path anchors?

Explorer ,
Dec 18, 2020 Dec 18, 2020

Hi!

Is it possible to view / edit animation keyframes for the individual anchors of a path / shape?

If I draw a shape with the pen tool, I can animate the individual anchor points. The timeline, however, only displays one set of animation keyframes for the entire shape. I would like to be able to apple separate timing variables (ease-in / out) to the individual anchor points, or be able to have overlapping animations- for example (just a stupid example), from 10f to 20f, anchor point A moves from left to right with ease in, and from 15f to 25f, anchor point B moves from right to left with ease out.

Right now I can't find a way to do this. Any ideas? Am I missing something?

Cheers!

Jesse

There is no direct way to do this. If you want it, you have to create expression controller Nulls for it using the respective menu functions.

As far as I know, there are two methods:
1- Create expression nulls
2- H00ker-plugin (https://aescripts.com/h00ker/ )
^replace 0 with o, the filter won't let me post that word 😛

Thanks for your replies! I think this is all a little over my head but I'll give it a try. Thanks again!
