Animatoberfest

Each year, I participate in Hacktoberfest and this year I've been doing animations as sort-of participating in Inktoberfest ... I've been calling it Animatoberfest ... if I actually organized and promoted it as a mass fun thing starting next year, would y'all be interested? Just like this post or comment so I can guage interest. I'll also be mentioning it on my twitter (@sproutmeansgrow) and instagram (@haxorsaxor) with polls and stuff if you want to chime in there and maybe share it. I am REALLY SORRY if this counts as inappropriate self-promotion or anything ... this will never be a monetized thing and am so NOT an influencer ... just giving places I'll be talking about it so people can gather and contribute.

What is it about?

Like the other events, it's to share your work and stimulate your own creativity by creating something no matter how small once a day for the rest of this and all Octobers going forward. I just created a GitHub repo for it so if there is a cool tutorial or script you've written (if you create your animations using code instead of a timeline) you can share it there and maybe, in doing so, also participate in Hacktoberfest. 

Inktober uses the #inktober hashtag on instagram, so if you post an animation there, use the #animatober or #animatoberfest hashtag. Or both, they're free.
