Audio spectrum that goes straight up in the air and follows a path

Hey guys,

I made an audio spectrum that follows a path, but the spectrum itself, goes in a lot of different directions, but I want it to be straight like in the sketch I made.

There were not that much solutions for my imagination on the internet, or my language is not good enough to find one.

Thanks in advance. ^^

Create a pre-comp with a straight horizontal audio spectrum in blacks & whites. Apply e.g. a Mosaic effect on top of the spectrum and dial in the number of bars you need to quantize the output. Use the resulting pre-comp as a property map e.g. for the Card Dance effect's scale parameter use a second map with a gradient on the position property to create the curvature.

Hi. You might try using the Wave Warp effect instead of a path?
