I know this has been posted before here, but nothing I found solved my problem. How can I easily transfer an AI file to AE without losing the blending mode qualities of the layers?
This is a big setback for me.
Help would be appreciated. Thanks.

AE only supports SOME Illustrator blend modes -- not all.  Not very handy for your project, but yes -- you are indeed forced to replicate the look of some Illustrator blend modes in AE.  Sorry.

Three words:  You can't. Sorry.

The best you can do is to replicate the look use blend modes in AE.

I'm working with over 40 layers and plenty of them have blend modes in the original AI file. How am I suppsoed to go around guessing which blend mode was used and adjust one by one?
