bokeh effect?

Hi, is it possible in AE, to create a bokeh effect on existing  video footage , once it is dragged in the timeline?

I would try to do this using Camera lens blur effect. this plugin is also very good: frischluft.com - Lenscare Description

also if are using a virtual camera in a scene, you can set it to enable depth of field and change the iris shape to something other than fast rectangle.

Thank you for your immediate reply!!!-I do have frischluft, although I have not used it in a while. I prefer to use this plugin in After Effects, since it would take much less time to render, then using C4D, as you know. Would you mind please sharing, would I use DOF, or out of focus? also any recommendations as to which iris shape works best,? thank you again, Craig
