AE v 23.2.1 (build 3)
System: macOS 12.6.2
AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT 16GB
I've a standard project scenario - sending a clip from PR to AE. However, once it reaches After Effects I get a noticeable flicker. The first sample video (PR to AE Flicker) shows how the same shot plays cleanly in PR, but develops a flicker when piped over to AE.
After A/B-ing all my effects and continued to see the flicker no matter how deep I went, I jumped into File>Project Settings>Color. I thought that maybe it was my ACES default workspace, but I didn't want to play with that as it would send all my other attached comps into color chaos. So, instead I switched the "3D LUT Interpolation" from Trilinear to Tetrahedral (GPU). The flicker disappeared.
I have also attached a second sample video (AE Export Comparison) where you can see playback between two QTPR422 files in Premiere. The QTPR422 files were exporte from AE, one prior to switching the 3D LUT setting and one after. Clearly, all else being equal, the 3D LUT setting can cause a flicker.
Thanks for looking into this, or letting me know its my fault for not knowing something I should.

What colorspace are you working in? I'm working in Arri Wide Color Gamut LogC4 and having this flicker issue. I've even disabled color management entirely, preserving RGB, and cannot shake the flicker for the life of me.
