Nov 10, 2025 Nov 10, 2025
  • Issue - typing in a new frame number in a time remap parameter in the timeline produces the wrong number.
  • Steps to reproduce - 1. take a footage layer, set it to 'freeze current frame' 2.edit the frame number in the text field next to time remap in the timeline
  • Expected result - it should show the correct number
  • Actual result -  it shows the wrong number. the workaround is to carefully drag the text slider to the correct number.
  • Adobe After Effects version - this bug has been present at least since 2020 until 2025
  • Operating system - Windows 10 or 11
  • GPU driver version (Windows only) - any driver version

Hi Simeon,

Thanks for writing in. I tried your steps, and it works fine on my end. Would you mind sharing a screen recording of the issue so we can better understand it?

Looking forward to your response. Moving this thread from Bugs to Discussions for troubleshooting.

Thanks,
Nishu

Try holding down the Ctrl/Cmnd key and clicking the Timeline Display to switch from Time Code to Frames a couple of times to make sure everything switches.
