Can anyone help me learn to do this?

Hey,

I have been trying to learn to use after effects or premiere pro to do something like in this video. I am doing a flyover for a local golf course just to practice and get better but I can for the life of  me figure out how to get these markers and especially the tracer like ball. I have searched the internet for tutorials but haven't found anything.

Can anyone help?

Also I have reached out to the company who made this and they were helpful with some tips for flying but didn't help with the post production which i cant blame them. I just want to learn to similar things, not copy them exactly.

To do that you have to track your shot. And you can use good old AE point tracker or 3D camera tracker. Just track your shot, attach your data to tracking points of your choosing and - depend on your shot - everything should work perfect.
As for that line tracking a ball - that is just animated patch in 3D space - also quite basic.

Thank you. I have been messing with the 3d tracker and knew that was part of it, just messing around with it to see how it fit what I was looking for. As for the tracer, that had me stumped but I will for sure be putting some practice in and try and see what I can put together.

If you are AE beginner it would be really helpfull for you to learn AE basics (you can start here: After Effects tutorials | Learn how to use After Effects CC.​ Without that it will be really hard to use AE because without basic knowledge and basic AE technical vocabulary you don't even know how to name and how to find what you wish to do.
