can't download after effects

i just bought a student's plan and i cant seem to find after effects anywhere in the creative cloud app , and when i go to the website i find it there and click download it says you will be converted to creative cloud desktop app and after effects will start download but literally nothing happens .

Sorry to hear that you are having trouble with installation.  That usually goes smoothly.

Visit the Contact Adobe support page and click the Virtual Assistant Chat bubble at the lower right.  Type "Agent" to get to help with the installation by phone or by chat.

I'd allow between one to two hours.
