I've been searching and have tried several different things, but for the life of me I can't seem to figure this out.
I have an AE Plug-ins folder,
E:\Adobe Creative Cloud Applications\Adobe After Effects 2021\Support Files\Plug-ins
According to this article I should just have to drop the plugin into that folder. Severl other sources I found say you need to make a folder for the plugin itself inside the Plug-ins folder. I've tried both with no luck.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Many plugins have to be installed by going through a set up application. Are you following the correct steps?

Sure target is just a drag and drop into the plugins folder install, it doesn't have an installer.

Without information on your OS no one would be able to give you much advice.
Since you used a letter for your drive I assume it is Windows but thats all I got.
I'm on Mac and my plug-ins forder is just in my AE application folder.

Yes, Windows 10 Pro, latest build.
And correct, there is no installer for this plug in.

The last time I installed it on a windows machine, I I think I copied it into the After Effects folder in my Program Files folder. So it was something like Program Files > After Effects (version) > plug-ins.
When I restarted AE it was in the Effects and Presets panel.
