Cannot find a way to use Expression (JavaScript)

Hello,

I wanted to follow this video tutorial (https://lesterbanks.com/2019/11/how-to-use-expressions-to-change-fonts-in-after-effects/). However, I cannot find a way to add expressions to source text. When I click on the stopwatch to start animating my text (E.g., changing its content), I cannot expand it as shown in the video, thus I cannot have any JavaScript code in there. Under the project settings, I have selected javascript. Either I am not enabling something, or there's something I need to install extra that I am not aware of. Alternatively, there's something I am forgetting to enable?

You are ALT+click the stopwatch to activate expression mode, aren't you?
