Cannot get Arabic text to align correctly in After Effects

I am working on a video project that needs a title in Arabic. Whenever I copy and paste the correctly translated text, the program seems to switch the characters around. However, in the text title the word is spelled correctly. I have downloaded the Arabic fonts and that did not help. I have tried switching in types to Middle East and restarting the program which did not help. I tried switching the text alignment which also yielded to no avail. I have wasted too much time on this project, I really need an easy workaround. Please help!
