CC Particle World not showing image particle emitting

As the title suggests. The image I have for the particle is not showing up in the emitting.

Just an update. I completely deleted the CC Particle World and made a new one and it worked fine. So my guess is it was either bugged or some setting was causing the PNG not to show. So no worries we are all good now.

Try to use a different image format like TIFF or PSD. There's a number of issues with PNG files, in particular on Macs. Other than that it could simply be a scaling issue, so start by cranking up the particle size.

I tried a PSD and cranked the size up to 100 on both birth and death. Nothing changed and still not showing.

Then perhaps it's a bug. Now that you mention it I seem to remeber that this was an issue in the initial release, but I was under the impression it had been fixed. Maybe I was wrong. Sadly there's no way to make it work, then and you have to consider other options.

Found out that PW emitting is absolutely dead when importing into 22.x  Composotions (wich had been updated)

Importing  new Emitter into the old Comp ...no pixel.  BUT,  creating a new Comp  in that 22x Projekt and than

importing a fresh 23X Emitter magicaly gives all the pixel rain you want.

Copying  old, not emitting Layers,  into a new created Comp inside that old Pojekt,  makes the previous not working Emitters come to life again. Proberbly the savest bet would be importing the complete (converted) old not working Projekt inside a freshly opened Projekt . jjjjez,  hope that makes sense to anybody but  if you do need  to solve such instant it might help.
