Chainlink fence removing

Community Beginner ,
Feb 28, 2024 Feb 28, 2024

Hi guys !

Today I'm having a quite tedious task to achieve, which is to remove a chainlink fence on a video that we shot a few days ago. I must confess that I never did such a thing, and that despite watching over google and searching for tutorials, nothing conclusive came to me.

Therefore I'd like to ask for ideas, thoughts or even if anybody could point me in the way to achieve that removal, it'll be amazing !! I guess the task will be tricky, but I'm pretty sure there's something to do about it.

Feel free to tell me what you think about it 🙂 All the best !Shot02_01_explainations.jpgShot01_01_explainations.jpg

You would simply track the camera replace the entire background with a clean plate like a bunch of cleaned up still images arranged in 3D space. You paint out the fence in photoshop and then take it from there.
