Hello - AE novice here. I created a beautiful 2:00 minute video with some 3D animation. Unfortunately I set the composition resolution way too high (16,000 x 9,000), and my PC cannot render the video. Realistically I need a 1,920 x 1,080 video that is suitable to be uploaded to YouTube.
Is there an easy way to scale it down so that I can render the video?
Thank you!
Mike
There's also a "scale composition" script. File->Scripts->Scale Composition and you can specify a new width or height - if you want to keep the composition at that lower resolution.

It doesn't sound like you would use After Effects for much of anything. Well, except for rendering the comp. Try exporting using Adobe Media Encoder for this job. It even has a YouTube preset.
