After effects crashes a lot when editing even though I have really good specs for video editing and does not give me the possibility to save the projects, i have just lost morethan 3 hours of editing.

Hi Nishu,
Thanks for your response. Here are the requested details:
Crash Trigger: The crashes seem to occur randomly, but they are more frequent during timeline scrubbing, preview rendering, applying effects, and exporting 4K compositions with multiple layers. When using third party plugins like Animation Composer and Motion Bro. Lastly, when working 3d.

- Processor: Intel 13th Gen i7-13620H (16 CPUs)

- RAM: 40GB

- Operating System: Windows 11

Thanks for sharing the details.
Can you try running After Effects in Safe Mode with third-party plug-ins disabled and test? It'll help us narrow down the issue.
Thanks,
Nishu

I am beyond frustrated with the sheer unreliability of After Effects. Yet again, I’ve encountered a critical error:
Crash in progress. Last logged message: 12264 prefetch 5 RequestPrefetchedFrame frame not in async list!
What kind of error is this? Why am I dealing with crashes in professional-grade software that costs a premium? I expect stability, not random failures that disrupt my workflow, waste my time, and risk my projects.
I have already:
Cleared cache
Adjusted RAM settings
Updated drivers
Disabled plugins
Reinstalled the software
And yet, nothing changes. How is this acceptable? Adobe boasts about performance improvements, yet basic stability seems to be an afterthought.
I demand an immediate resolution. Fix your software. Provide actual solutions, not the same generic troubleshooting steps that clearly don’t work. If this persists, I will be forced to reconsider my subscription and explore alternatives.
This is NOT the standard I expect from Adobe. DO BETTER.
Awaiting an urgent response.

I tried the solutions mentioned there nothing worked. Normally as an adobe support you should give me the right solotion not give me a bunch of solutions which is listed in a whole page. I dont have the time to go through all the page and read all peoples comments.
