I have an Intel Core i5 4440s, not looking for the highest render times, but will it work to motion track?
Yes, there are no specific GPU requirements that allow you to motion track. Long, complex motion tracking jobs may be fairly RAM intensive, especially if you are using Camera Tracking, so having plenty of RAM may assist you. But generally, most machines within standard specs for After Effects will have no trouble doing motion tracking work.

so will 8 GB of DDR3 RAM be enough to camera track?
Every time I try to motion track, it always says "Anylasis solve failed", tried different videos, restarted both the program and the computer, but nothing worked.
Regular motion tracking works just fine, any idea on how to fix it?

So you are camera tracking, is that correct? It does sound like a RAM issue.

Yeah, camera tracking that's right
So a quick upgrade from 8 GB to 16 GB fix it?
Before I buy new RAM sticks, are there any other troubleshooting options?

Hi Moribash,
Did you add more RAM? What happened?
Thanks,
Kevin

I didn't upgrade yet, but I'm just gonna buy a new pc
My specs are pretty outdated, im thinking about upgrading to a 6 core processor with 16 gb of RAM
When I get the computer built, ill tell you how motion tracking runs

Yep, it did pretty well this time
Did a test, I put my older ram and processor into another PC, After Effects didn't track very well
I then put my older processor and new RAM into another PC, and After Effects tracked very well
so it seems the RAM upgrade helped a lot

I put the most RAM I can put in the slots in any computer I build. Figure out the most you can spend then go find more money. Too much is not enough, to borrow a phrase from the '80s.
