Erro do after effects: falha interna de verificação! {GetMessageW Failure}

Recentemente, sempre que tento abrir algum projeto antigo do After Effects, recebo a seguinte notificação:
"Erro do after effects: falha interna de verificação! {GetMessageW Failure}"

Versão do After Effects: 24.2.1

I am just having the same problem!
Today I openned after effects and it started poping up and closing this annoying error message.
It happens in any project I open.

I already tried installing a previous version, uninstalling scripts and plugins but nothing solves it.

I'm working on a computer with Windows 11, Intel Core i7-4790K, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050, with 32GB memory.

Could you share a project file that fails to open? I want to test it on my end. Feel free to DM me the download link.

Looking forward to your response.

Thanks,

Nishu

Hi, Nishu!

I don´t even need to have an especific project open (and when it crashes I cant save anything either)

But... It seems to be related to the Cinema 4D renderer option, on the After Effects end.

That´s how I figured it out: I was working on a project (all plugins disabled to be able to work) and tried to import a project with 3d text animated and when it finish the import, starts again the message error loop.

So, I assume that is 3d related issue.

Then I started a new project from zero,  all 3rd party plugins disabled from the "manage Plugins boot", created a new comp and as soon I choose "Cinema 4d Render" instead of "Classic 3d Render" it triggers the loop message bug behavior.

Maybe drivers?

System info:

Windows 10 / NVidia Geforce RTX 3060 / Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8700 CPU @ 3.20GHz 3.20 GHz / 72 Gb RAM Memory

Everything was running OK before AE 2024 update.

Thanks in advance for any help on this!

As the expert suggested, please share your system specifications (CPU, GPU, RAM, OS version). Does it happen to a specific project or any project you open? Are you able to create a new project and work? You can try running After Effects in Safe Mode. Here's how: https://community.adobe.com/t5/after-effects-discussions/how-to-troubleshoot-startup-issues-in-after-effects-using-the-startup-repair-options/td-p/13866327

Let us know.

Note: Moving this thread from Bugs to Discussions for troubleshooting.

Thanks,

Without any system info we can't even begin to guess. You need to be much more specific.
