Everytime I try to import a video it reproduces at a fast speed, how can I fix this?
What info do you see next to the preview in the Project File? You should see the frame rate, audio sampling rate, duration, and format. It should look something like this:
If the video is not playing back at the correct speed then the frame rate that After Effects sees in the metadata of the video file is incorrect. That is not an AE problem, that is a problem with the software or hardware used to record the video. The most common cause of this problem is screen recording software. Some of the app

What is the source of the video, and what is inside the video?

That is not an AE problem, that is a problem with the software or hardware used to record the video. The most common cause of this problem is screen recording software. Some of the apps use constantly variable frame rates and other funky tricks to keep the screen recording files smaller. Other common causes of frame rate issues are cell phone cameras and toy cameras.
If you know what the frame rate is you can select the footage in the Project Panel then set it using File>interpret footage or use the keyboard shortcut Alt/Option + Ctrl/Cmnd + g. You can also use frame rate interpretation to set the speed of footage to anything you like. That is the first step in creating slow-motion footage from video that was shot at 60fps or more. Just interpret 60 fps original as 30 fps and you get half speed playback.

Hi, try this:
In Project Panel: right click in your video file, Interpret Footage / Main...
Choose "Conform to frame rate:" option and put 29,97 or 30 frames per second, for example. Or the framerate that you know your video is.
I hope this helps you.
Regards!
