Exporting mogrt template not working

I've created an animation and placed properties into Essential Graphics, like I've done numerous times in the past. When I click to Export Motion Graphics Template, I'm able to choose where to save, etc., and it looks like it runs its process (I don't get any errors), however, when I look in the location I exported to, it's not there. I do a search for the exact file name, but nothing comes up. I have also updated all of my software.

Just decided to try random things, and when I unchecked the option to 'Include video preview' it actually saved the mogrt file. If anyone can explain why, that would be helpful.

Hi @c Tatrn,

 

That's super odd and unfortunately, I can't reproduce the issue on my computer. Can you tell me more information so I diagnose what's happening?

  • Adobe After Effects version number used to create the mogrt
  • Operating system and version number
  • Where are you exporting your mogrt to? (Local Templates Folder, a folder, cloud location, or a library)

  • If it is a cloud service, please let me know which one
  • If you could DM me the collected project file, it would be incredibly helpful!

 

Also some things to try and let me know what happened:

  • Does the mogrt export (with video checkbox enabled) if you send it to the Local Templates Folder?
  • Does the mogrt export (with video checkbox enabled) if you send it to the Desktop?

I'm facing the exact same problem, I tried to export it everywhere during 2 hours and the file is impossible to find.

- Local Templates Folder, a local folder, a library

The MOGRT is in the message

- Yes but it says " Media offline "

Thanks for the information. Since the file was not collected, I couldn't reproduce the issue. Could you collect the project and zip it up to send over? Use a 3rd party service like Google Drive if it's larger than the forums limit.

 

I think what's interesting is that you ARE getting an export to a specific location. Can you tell me where your project file is located (on disk, cloud, etc)?

 

Also, is the location path of your project file over 256 characters?

I think what's interesting is that you ARE getting an export to a specific location. Can you tell me where your project file is located (on disk, cloud, etc)?

- I export everything on my SSD, not on the cloud, and the name of the SSD is " E: Montage ", it's not that long.
