This is an example image of my problem. I made this flower shape in After Effects and it should be strokeless. It still has this faint black outline though. I saw a couple threads about this but those were only for if you created the shape outside After Effects. How do I get rid of this little black line? Thank you!

Apologies, I should have included more screenshots in the first place. I think I have the screenshots you requested, but let me know if not. Right now it's literally just a star shape. Thank you.

What happens if you set the Viewer Size to 100%? Also I would like you to check what settings do you have in Preview preferences inside AE. Check that your viewer options are set in ZOOM QUALITY to More Accurate.

Changing the viewer size didn't seem to help. Changing my resolution to full made the line a little less noticable but it was still there. My Zoom Quality was also already set to More Accurate.

I DID end up finding a fix though! Adding a "simple choker" and setting it to around 3.3 seemed to get rid of the line!

So now I have a fix even if I still don't know what was cauing it in the first place

I cannot resproduce the same behaviour. It would be great if you could upload your project file to check it. Simple chocker affects the alpha channel of your shape so it is changing its dimension in pixels.

I had a similar problem but I was finally able to resolve it. It was because I didn't put the paths in separate groups. It seems a bit different from yours as you only had one path in your layer. Putting this out incase someone runs into a similar issue.
