Fill & Stroke

I'm trying to create a composition in AE.  I've created a shape and want to add a stroke to the border.  The Fill & Stroke options are not visible in the Toolbar.  I've done a search of the forum and nothing comes up that's relevant.

Please advise.

    Because you did not made a shape but a mask on a solid. If you wish to make a shape unselect any layers in timeline and then draw your shape.
