Hi, i got the AFTER EFFECTS free trial today, and i used it, didn't like it so i went to cancel it, when i did it said "You won't be billed until Aug 20, 2022, so you still have 7 days left to get the most out of your free trial." Why am i still being billed if it's a free trial? How do i avoid getting billed? Thanks.

If you never input payment information anywhere, you won't get billed and the programs simply stop working. Otherwise contact sales support via Twitter @AdobeCare or using the means here on the Adobe web site. This is nothing anyone on the forum can handle.

If you canceled you won't get billed.  If you don't know whether or not you sucessfully canceled then contact sales support like Myl said.    In the future it's probably better to not sign-up for trials that you cannot afford because if there's a glitch or a problem then you've put yourself in a tight spot.  I suppose another option would be to somehow stop any potential payment via the PayPal website.  Then if they try to bill you it will be denied and your software will be deactivated.
