Green bar rebuffering

Hi,

Everytime I try to transform something within my composition, my green bar starts to rebuffer.   Is there a way to turn this off because it is really slowing down my workflow?   Currently, the only effect I have applied a simple 'typewriter' animation to a paragraph.  

When I try to create a box or transform an object, the green bar rebuffers...

You can disable Cache indicators for a Timeline by clicking on the ribbed Menu - see image below

Do take note that green, Cached Indicators is a visual indicator that the related timeline frames have been cached to RAM. Any change you make to a property, to a layer within the cached frames will result in AE having to create new cached frames. In short, what you are experiencing is expected behavior.

You may also want to explain how the slowdown manifests itself and what are your expected results.

Any time you change a layer's property that affects the entire comp, the comp's green bare will disappear.
