How can I read/write AE file by using AE SDK?

         I have download the ae sdk and  browse the examples. But all of them are about plug-in. What I need is to operate the ae file by using AE SDK,for example:read the text or image in aep file, change the text content in aep file.

          by the way, I don't want to use the way of plug-in, beacuse it depends on runing the AE application. I want to operate the file by my own application.

          Could someone give some suggestion about this question ? thanks a lot.

Hi,

I think the easiest way is to work with XML.

AE projects can be saved in XML, and then easily edited with a simple 'find and replace'.
