How Do I Change Time Ruler Loop?

For me, I the time ruler seems to keep going into a loop and i cant get out of it.

That green dot keeps reapeating the video I am trying to play. Can someone explain to me why and how I can fix it?

It looks like the comp's Work Area is set to one frame.  Go to the end of the comp and hit the "n" key to set the work area to the end of the comp.
